The Leofoto LN-284CH Hiker carbon tripod is part of the Leofoto Hiker series of tripods. This is a carbon tripod for the rougher work, which is reflected in the solid construction and the removable tripod feet, which can be replaced by spikes. Solid but lightweight carbon tripod

The solid but lightweight Leofoto LN-284CH carbon tripod is made of no less than 10 layers of cross-woven carbon, which ensures maximum rigidity. The working height without tripod head is up to 163cm and the minimum working height is 11.5cm. The Leofoto LN-284CH measures only 55 centimeters when folded, making it easy to take this tripod with you on the road. Without the center column, the height is 130 centimeters. The load capacity of the Leofoto LN-284CH tripod is no less than 20 kilograms, while its own weight is less than 2 kilograms. The 59mm wide tripod plate is equipped with a 3/8-inch tripod screw to easily mount various professional tripod heads. A convenient spirit level is built into the top of the tripod.

Easily extendable tripod legs

The strong carbon tripod legs of the LN-284CH consist of four smoothly extending sections with a leg diameter of up to 28mm. They have a screw lock or twist lock. Thus, you screw the tripod legs on and off easily with a simple twist of the locking screws, even with one hand. The tripod legs have removable, shock-absorbing rubber feet for a stable grip on any surface. Should circumstances make it necessary, they can be exchanged with lightning speed for the included stainless steel spikes. Leofoto has applied a brown silica foam covering to one of the tripod legs to prevent cold hands when carrying and holding the camera.

Removable center column

The tiltable legs of this carbon tripod allow you to work very low to the ground, but if you flip the removable center column you can really work on top of your subject for macro photography, for example. The center column is quickly and smoothly adjusted by the butterfly nut on the tripod body, allowing you to adjust the tripod even with gloves on. A carbon tripod can absorb vibrations perfectly, but due to the relatively low weight of a carbon tripod, a counterweight is often necessary for stable work.
