Leofoto Hiker LN-324CH Carbon Tripod

The rugged lightweight Leofoto LN-324CH carbon tripod is part of the Leofoto Hiker series of tripods. The LN-324CH is a carbon tripod for heavy duty work, which is evident from its solid construction and removable tripod feet, which can be replaced with stainless steel spikes. This high-quality and solid carbon tripod comes with a multitool, a set of spikes and a strong carrying case. The LN-324CH has a removable center column.

Lightweight but solid carbon tripod

The lightweight but solid Leofoto LN-324CH carbon tripod is constructed of no less than 10 layers of cross-woven carbon and CNC milled aluminum parts, which ensures maximum rigidity and stability. The working height without tripod head is up to 168 cm and the minimum working height is 9 cm. Without the center column, the height is about 133 centimeters. When folded, the Leofoto LN-324CH is only 57.5 centimeters long, so you can easily take this tripod with you. The load capacity of the Leofoto LN-324CH tripod is 25 kilograms, while its weight is 2.26 kilograms. The wide tripod plate features a 3/8-inch tripod screw to easily mount various professional tripod heads. A convenient level is built into the top of the tripod.

Removable center column

The three-position tiltable legs of this carbon tripod allow you to work very low to the ground, but if you flip the removable center column you can really work on top of your subject for macro photography, for example. The center column is quickly and smoothly adjusted by the butterfly nut on the tripod body, allowing you to adjust the tripod even with gloves on. A carbon tripod can absorb vibrations perfectly, but due to the relatively low weight of a carbon tripod, a counterweight is often necessary for stable work. Especially for this purpose, a removable hook is present at the bottom of the center column of the Leofoto LN-324CH. You can hang a camera bag from this hook, but also a bag of stones, for example.

Smoothly extendable tripod legs

The smoothly extending carbon tripod legs of the LN-324CH consist of four sections with a leg diameter of up to 32mm. They have a screw lock or twist lock. So you screw the tripod legs on and off with a simple twist, even with one hand. The tripod legs have removable, shock-absorbing rubber feet for a stable grip on any surface. If circumstances require it, they can be exchanged for the supplied stainless steel spikes in no time. Leofoto has applied a brown silica foam covering to one of the tripod legs to prevent cold hands while carrying and holding the camera.
